Weekapaug Chapel

10:00 a.m. Morning Service

The Weekapaug Chapel Society was founded on August 4, 1906 to erect and maintain a chapel at Weekapaug for Christian worship during the summer months without any denominational distinction. The present building was completed and dedicated in 1917.

The Chapel and its grounds are maintained through generous contributions and gifts of musical instruments, furnishings and baseboard heat. The Chapel Society celebrated its 100th Anniversary in 2006 and the building was repaired and renovated in 2009 and 2015.  The Chapel Society celebrated the 100th anniversary of its building in 2017.

All residents of and visitors to the Weekapaug area are welcome to attend the services in the Chapel. Those who attend services and contribute to the Chapel are considered members of the Society.

The chapel has a long history of opening its doors for community speakers, events and programs such as the the long running Theatre Camp.

Volunteers support the Chapel and its work in the community.  Please contact any of the Trustees to learn how you can help.
